Good to see giveaways in the niches, but unless the marketer has products and services within that niche they should stick to those relevant to them - drawing a crowd from niches outside their realm will mean most of their signups are not targeted prospects.
That being said, however, a strong giveaway can be a great launching pad to help a marketer START into a new niche with a ready-made list and audience.
